Information Bright Tab Collects
Bright Tab automatically collects and stores the following information:
Technical information, such as device, your use of the product (Bright Tab) and other Software you've installed on your device (with the device type, version, name, and OS, as well as other Software including but not limited to Software Services, ISP, IP address, cookies, and configuration and settings of the device (with language and time zone).
Usage information, meaning - interaction with your device, our Software and services, and other software, how you use your internet browser and search-related apps. We will also access your language settings, web pages visited, apps used and the content you see, ads you view and how you respond to them, your search queries, and approximate location and time of your sear Support-wise information, meaning - your interaction with our support team whether that is with our support section, email, or phone call. Any information that is given, such as name, email address, phone number, etc. and any other voluntarily submitted by you. The data collected may include personally identifiable information or data which is defined under the applicable laws (PII and IP address, cookies, similar web technologies) as a necessary part o using our services (Bright Tab).
How Bright Tab Uses information collected
Bright Tab follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information. Information on how you use the software and the services the software provides, your language settings, the web pages you visit, apps you use, and the content you see, as well as ads you see, your search queries, and the time of your searches.
If you do communicate with us via our support section, contact form, or email we may collect your email address, name, or any information provided in the ticket you've created or initiated. We might use the following PII information: IP address, Install-ID, Cookie ID, URL referrer, search terms, and support related information.
We need these information in order to provide you with the search results of our web partners in response to your online search queries. We delete this data after the fraud and lifetime value assessment has been completed. Bright tab processes this information based on a legitimate interest of the user's right to freedom and expression. We share your search queries and IP address with our search partners who further provide you with some aspects of the services and functionality of search, which include the results of your search queries. We use your PII to prevent fraud on Software or Services, - This helps us control potentially fraudulent or illegal use of our Service. 3 months is necessary for us to conduct this fraud analysis. After that, we will delete all data except for the Cookie-ID and Install-ID which we use for our business performance.
We use your PII to assess the LTV of the user (Lifetime value) - measuring over the 24 month period. Bright Tab uses Cookie-ID and Install ID and the number of search queries performed. We need this to process the legitimate interest of our business operations.
We use your PII and Support Information and related info to take action in case of a dispute involving you in connection with Bright Tab and to enforce the terms and conditions applicable to our Software & Services (Bright Tab). We also use your PII to comply with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., the disclosure of information to law enforcement or tax authorities), and to protect against suspicious or other illegal activities. This is why we may share this information with law enforcement or other authorities in charge as it may be required in order to protect the rights and safety of the Company and the users of the Software and Services (Bright Tab).
